I am originally from Mexico City, with a Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, in addition to holding a Master's degree in Mass Communication and Art Direction. Since I was young, I have always been passionate about art, starting with ballet, jazz, and synchronized swimming, where I represented Aguascalientes for 8 years. Then I discovered other forms of expression, such as urban and contemporary dance, until I encountered Middle Eastern dance... and that’s when I knew I had found my true passion!

In 2014, I graduated from the“Belly Gym Escuela de Danza Arabe”, completing the training program as a dancer and Belly Dance instructor. A year later, I became part of the first and only generation in Mexico certified by the renowned Munique Neith as a dancer and teacher of oriental dance. Since then, I have continued to learn from the best teachers around the world.

Throughout my career, I have received awards and certificates at both national and international levels. I have been part of incredible companies, such as Bellydance Evolution, where I serve as co-director, choreographer, and lead dancer, as well as being part of the International Ballet of Munique Neith, International Ballet & Company Wa Nour Al Ayoun of Virginia Méndez, and Triad Dance, among others. I am also co-director of Jillina’s Bellydance Experience and work full-time with BDE and all of Jillina Carlano's projects.

I have been fortunate to travel across all continents, teaching classes and performing on stages around the world. In 2017, I opened my own dance school, Casa Luna; Hogar de Danza, where in addition to teaching, I lead the Colectivo Lunar, a local fusion dance company featuring the best talent from Aguascalientes, active for 6 consecutive years. Recognizing the need for expansion and the interest of dancers from other states, I transformed it into a seasonal and location-based project, providing opportunities for artists from various places to be part of this great lunar family.
